According to E! News, on the September 30 episode, Travis Kelce gave a shoutout to Taylor Swift for the song, which is part of ‘The Life of a Showgirl: The Encore’. “Shoutout to Tay Tay for making that song,” Travis said. “Just giving the city a little more.” He also added, “I love it, man.”
Jason Kelce calls it incredible
Jason Kelce, a former Philadelphia Eagles player, was equally impressed. “Dude, that song is incredible,” he said. He revealed that he and his wife, Kylie Kelce, have been playing it often. “There’s just something about it. It makes you feel really good. It’s a great song,” Jason said.
A song full of personal details
‘Cleveland!’ draws on the Kelce brothers’ childhood hometown. Swift sings about Travis taking her to Cleveland Heights, where he spent his early years, and describes it as a place that matters to the love of her life. In another verse, she points out the house with a porch where he lived as a kid.
Travis Kelce has long been a fan
Travis Kelce has spoken before about enjoying Taylor Swift’s music, and he has said that her 2014 album ‘1989’ was among his favourites. During a 2024 appearance on the ‘Bussin’ with the Boys’ podcast, he explained why.“We’re the same age, so through high school, I knew when she was getting her career started. But I think 1989 was where it really started to go crazy,” Travis Kelce said.The NFL star has also named ‘Blank Space’ as one of his favourite songs. He has recalled attending her Eras Tour, where the energy at her shows stood out to him, especially during ‘Cruel Summer’.“When she comes out and it’s just f–king electric in the stadium, and then she goes into an absolute banger like that,” Travis Kelce said.
